The case study participants' course experiences have supported their ongoing school building activities in various ways. They have had opportunities to engage in a range of activities as they work with teachers and students to enhance their understanding of the mathematics. As they work with teachers and students, they draw on their understandings as they meet new situations. As they do so, they often demonstrate how they can draw on and adapt content and pedagogical knowledge acquired during their course work to successfully engage in their daily work.
