Given the active involvement of the partnering school systems to utilize these services, one research question is what relationships exist between TASC services and classroom practices and student achievement? Since a sizeable number of teachers have received TASC professional development in the use of kits and inquiry instruction, then classroom science instructional practices should reflect completing experiments and active student engagement in science learning. Furthermore, a strong association should exist between teachers who have received science TASC professional development and student achievement scores.
