The North Cascades and Olympic Science Partnership (NCOSP) is a targeted MSP involving 28 school districts in the northwest Washington with the overarching goal of creating sustainable systemic change in science education across the region. The idea of trying to measure the growth of partnership (the NCOSP community) over time emerged in Year One in support of the longer term goal of examining the impact and sustainability of the project's efforts and products. The resulting findings contribute to knowledge of influences that collaborations between K-12 teachers, school administrators and higher education faculty can have on each other and on their own institutions.
