Results of the partnership suite of instruments over the last three years have indicated positive movement in three of the four targeted components, suggesting the emergence of common vision, alignment of goals and rewards and a movement from personal changes in beliefs and practice to cultural (although few institutional) changes at the institutions involved in NCOSP. In the area of communication, results are mixed. The instruments have not recorded any discernable change in the quantity or direction of communication between or among the various institutions. However, reports of project-prompted collaborations within individual institutions suggest increased quality of communication and collaboration there.
