The main hypothesis is that 5th, 8th, and 10th grade students in science classrooms with a NCOSP Teacher Leader will perform better on the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) in science than students in the region who are not taught science by an NCOSP TL. We also anticipated that the more years students had a NCOSP TL, the greater their performance on the science WASL.
